Hendren House is a full-service interior design firm based in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Created with the love of home in mind. From full home builds and renovations, to home furnishings selections, to virtual design, Hendren House assists clients with a wide range of interior design needs. We are happy to work closely with trade individuals including architects, contractors, builders, carpenters, or any other type of creator to bring to life unique spaces for our clients.

Our specialties include architectural finish selection, attention to design details, layered designs with a love of texture, materials, finishes and pattern in mind, and creating functional, beautiful, and most importantly happy living spaces.

Caroline Finnegan, Owner & Principal Designer

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a background in retail buying and interior design, Hendren House has always been a dream for Caroline. After graduating college, Caroline started her career in retail buying and merchandising. After working for companies like Urban Outfitters, Terrain, and Surya; Caroline decided to go back to school to pursue a career in Interior Design. Caroline attended Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania specializing in Interior Design studies. After several years in the interior design field Caroline decided to create her own firm, and so began Hendren House Interior Design in 2020. Named after the street of her childhood home, Hendren House is rooted in a love for home. Families of all types are what make a house a home. Helping clients create spaces they love and that they get to share with the ones they love is our ultimate goal. Interior Design allows for Caroline to connect creativity with her love of home. Caroline lives in Havertown, Pennsylvania with her husband and two young sons.

Charlie Gallagher, Design Shop Assistant

With a background in set design, wood work, and handyman skills Charlie has many talents he offers to Hendren House. Besides being one of the friendly faces that welcomes customers in the shop, Charlie also manages inventory, is our go to handyman for clients, and is currently working on getting our web-shop up and running. Charlie lives in Philadelphia with his adorable pup!

Bridget Gibney, Design Project Associate

After over a decade in nursing Bridget decided to pursue her passion for Interior Design and joined our team in 2022 when we opened the shop. You can find Bridget in the shop helping customers select the perfect new rug or piece of art for their home or assisting in our design projects. Bridget grew up in Havertown and now lives there with her husband and two children.
